Flix IPTV: Installation and Configuration Tutorial

Flix IPTV is an IPTV player for Smart TVs and streaming devices. It works like Smart IPTV, but it is more stable and copes well with large playlists. The app does not include any channels. You add your own IPTV subscription to it with an M3U link. Flix IPTV features

You find most of these options in the app’s Settings menu.

Multi-language support. Choose from more than 17 languages under Settings > Change Language.
Themes. Change the look of the app under Settings > Change Theme.
External players. On Android and iOS you can play streams in MX Player or VLC. Go to Settings > External Players.
Subtitle settings. Change the size, colour and background of subtitles under Settings > Subtitle Settings. Few IPTV players offer this.
Favourites and multiple playlists. Build favourite lists, switch between playlists and hide categories you never watch in live TV, films or series.

On Smart TVs, Android TV and Apple TV, open the app store, search for Flix IPTV and install it. Flix IPTV is not in the Amazon Appstore. On a Fire Stick, install it with the Downloader app or your device’s browser, using the download address shown on the Flix IPTV website.

What you need

Your Xtreme HD IPTV M3U link. You receive it by email after ordering or requesting a free trial.
A phone or computer with a web browser.
An internet connection of 50 Mbps or more is recommended.

How to set up Flix IPTV with your M3U link

Install Flix IPTV and open it. Your MAC address is shown on the screen. Write it down.

If you missed it, open the menu on the left, go to Settings and scroll down to User Account.

On your phone or computer, go to flixiptv.eu/mylist.
Enter your MAC address and your M3U link, then save.

Restart the app, or go to Settings > Change Playlist. When a window asks you to reload the list, click OK. Your channels, films and series now load.

How to activate Flix IPTV

Like SET IPTV and Net IPTV, Flix IPTV comes with a free trial period of the app. After that, you pay a one-off fee to activate it for life on one TV or device. The fee is paid to the app developer and does not include channels. Check the current price on the Flix IPTV activation page.

Flix IPTV not working? Quick fixes

The playlist does not load. Check that the MAC address on the website matches the app exactly, then reload the playlist from Settings.
Old channels still appear. Go to Settings > Change Playlist and reload, or restart the TV.
Buffering. Restart your router and TV, use a cable connection if possible, and pause other downloads on your network.
Playback problems on Android. Try an external player such as VLC or MX Player from Settings > External Players.
“Activation required”. The Flix IPTV app trial has ended. Activate the app as described above. Your IPTV subscription is not affected.

Is Flix IPTV free?

You can use it free during the app trial. After that, a one-off activation per device is required.

Does Flix IPTV include channels?

No. It is only a player. The channels, films and series come from your IPTV subscription.

Can I use Flix IPTV on a Fire Stick?

Yes, but it is not in the Amazon Appstore, so you install it with the Downloader app. If you want something simpler on Fire Stick, try IPTV Smarters Pro.

Can I add more than one playlist?

Yes. Flix IPTV supports several playlists, and you can switch between them in Settings.
